Teaching
After spending time in prayer and meditation asking the Lord how He wants us to do things. We are now choosing to no longer live stream our services.
The way we gather isn’t built around performance, production, or personal preference. We don’t have coffee or donuts in the lobby. There’s no fog machine, no LED screens, no light show. We don’t even put our kids in separate rooms- they’re in the room with us, worshipping, watching, learning.
There’s not a single part of our service that’s designed to entertain. It’s all about ONE THING- Encountering Jesus. And what we’ve been experiencing together in the room lately- it’s holy, authentic, raw, real. And it doesn’t translate well through a screen. The most vital parts of you and me Jesus chose to form in the secret, intimate, hidden place of the womb. We believe these sacred moments are meant to be protected - not broadcast. We’re choosing to honor the powerful work of the Spirit in our midst by turning off the cameras and being fully present together and we’ve added 50 more chairs for a total of 300, because we believe Jesus is drawing more people into this kind of simple, undistracted pursuit of Him.
If you’ve been with us online, thank you for walking with us. We’d love for you to come be a part of the room.
With Love, The Wilderness Place
