MEET OUR INSTRUCTOR: REBECCA McARTHUR

Rebecca McArthur is a passionate dance educator and choreographer whose artistry is deeply rooted in her Christian faith.

She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Performance and Choreography from The State University of New York at Brockport and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance and Choreography from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Rebecca’s professional journey has taken her across the United States and around the world. She performed, taught, and served as a dance coordinator with 13th Floor, a Christian performing arts company based in South Africa. She has also performed and toured with several professional dance companies and trained with internationally respected choreographers and dance educators.

Rebecca previously served for six years as an Instructor of Dance and Assistant Professor at The University of Southern Mississippi. She has also served as a guest artist at Belhaven University.

Her life and work are profoundly influenced by her faith in Jesus Christ. Rebecca is a loving wife to Chris and a mother of four children—Levi, Jonah, Millie, and Hannah—whom she homeschools. In 2023, her family moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to help establish Hope City Church in Pass Christian.

Rebecca believes dance is a powerful way to express faith, inspire others, and share the love of Jesus. Through her teaching and choreography, she is committed to helping dancers grow in confidence, creativity, discipline, and joy.
